The hard Burton water helps to make this fine bitter world famous. Pedigree is a pleasing session pint. The primary aroma is of the Maris Otter malt, with a mildly yet characteristic sulphurous, eggy hint.
The Fuggles and Goldings hops push through powerfully in the flavour and last well into the finish. The flavour is not overpowering, however, and is tempered by a hint of syrupy sweetness, lending a richness to the brew. |
